Getting ready to board plane for Vegas in a few minutes. Was able to get two kites, board and safety gear into one bag with 1 pound to spare.

yah, you gotta watch who the actual carrier is no matter who you book with. Air Can and United have the star alliance and even though you book with
one airline you are subject to the luggage allowance of the actual carrier - that sucks.
Could be worse, could be sitting in front of a computer reading about everyone heading down there....
