any luck with the doggie chow

All they wanted to know was if we had any lemons or oranges. We told them we had strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and dog food on board and they said "That's okay, any oranges or lemons though?"

Funny that we won't be allowed to take it back into Canada.....

Wow, you guys have another thousand before you get down here as close as we are. That's some dedication to put those miles in. Travel safe.

EDIT: Wow, you guys drive as far as I had to drive when moving to California from Georgia.

hope to make this trip with you next year Macboy...flying out on Friday, and settling down in Drayton valley

Damn, I love i5... ... How's the Rockies?

canuck - 28-3-2010 at 08:14 PM

We're trucking down I-15, not I-5. Still lots of snow in the passes above 6500ft.

I made it to Fairview Utah today. Snowkiting at Milepost 14 "The Big Drift" tomorrow  sunny, high 45F 15-18mph winds. Hope to see you there macboy.

See y'all on Tuesday night

ORANGES!? We don't need no oranges!
WE AIN'T GOT NO STINKIN ORANGES!

That's how you cross the border!

Safe Travels Everyone.

Canuck! We're in Provo with an early morning beeline to Skyline planned. I'll watch for you. I think I might have a few hours of kiteable time tomorrow if the wind's up. See you there! Could be a SA kinda day but if not, keep your eyes peeled for an Arc out there.

Don't tell me the answer but it's been fun watching out for Alberta plates wondering if it was you and the missus.......hehehe......helped keep me awake. Amazing that I didn't break out the skis about an hour past Dillon....so damn tempted were it not for al the fences all over the place. I saw so many amazing places to play.......

Great day at Skyline. Thanks for making the side trip macboy & family. Too close to the sun up there though - what a sunburn:thumbdown:

See ya on the playa tomorrow with SPF 70 applied ;)

Sunburn? For real?

Holy moly.

Well worth it even for just an hour of kiting with a misbehaving kite ; ) Thanks again for the motivation to take that trek....I'll definitely be back there again one day. What a playground. We'll get some laughs at the kite wrestling footage at NABX......debating how much to edit ; )
