Good choice on the 3m. It will still pull you around a bit, but not on your face while you are learning. Once you get the hang of the board your next step I would recommend a 5.6
Or jump to DePower.

it is more than enough kite for me right now, it pulled me off the ground, then again the past 3 times I've flown winds have been 20 mph or more. It felt like my arms were being pulled out of their sockets at zenith. I might want to get into kite surfing so maybe a charger in 1-2 years, but our ocean is filthy as #@%$#! cant say much for the beach either there is broken glass everywhere.

20 mph is too much for fun flying that kite. Keep the wind speeds down a bit while getting the hang of it. Get a harness and a strop on the handles and save your arms a bit.
Charger is awesome. I would be concerned about glass and/or shells. The good thing is it is a pretty controllable kite with the autozenith and all. So if you have a 'clean' area to set it up and take it down, you can probably avoid all the glass and shells.

The twister is like holding onto a bulldog going after a cat.
The charger is like holding onto a chihuahua when at auto zenith. Put it in the zone and have fun!
