just got my 11M neo to learn kitesurfing in a few monthes when the water warms up at my local. Is the 11M too big to landboard with? I'm thnking is should be fine but just wanna check.

it's only too big if it's flown inappropriate winds.
i've seen small(ish) kids flying 7m fixed bridals.

I spent the last two days landboarding and buggying with my 11m Neo in SIX to EIGHT mph winds. Once everything got moving apparent wind took over and provided a comfortable speed with very little kite work required. This was on a hard packed beach. If you are riding a sod farm or athletic field you may need at least 8mph.
10 to 12 mph is golden for the 11m on the landboard providing enough lift for some "air" if you are so inclined. This kite loves apparent wind so don't be surprised at the speed and power when you get moving. If you are inexperienced, I would suggest avoiding winds over 12mph with the Neo until you develop some skill and confidence.
You didn't say if your Neo is a I or II. I understand the II's don't have the same lower end as the I's.
Have fun, be safe!
