Nice POV, Carl, ques. did the crash cause the wheel failure, or did the wheel failure cause the crash? You probably have the best, and certainly push it to the max, but if you were to tell MBS, CTB wants stronger, I think you would get it! Another vid to learn by, thanks.

carltb - 11-4-2010 at 05:59 AM

the wheel failure was nothing more then a bearing disintegrating so nothing to complain about really.

For some reason that wouldn't load when I followed the link from Facebook
Nice  boy it really whips around quick in those loops eh!

Dude, I'm glad you traded in your guns for kites.

JK, but the link to Meet Carl the Bullet did catch my eye.

Good stuff man. I always get a kick out of how you preload your loops, +points for style, use some blue lock tight (not the red or it will be real hard to get off) on the hub bearing nut next time? any way fly with your gopro more often looks great.

high-it was mechanical failure, not that the bolt came off. Great tip on the blue locktite for those that don't know it! I have often found parts of my MBS board completely loose and would have fallen apart if not for the locktite holding those bolts on!

And - you can get the Loctites in a lipstick-like tube ... no dripping glue everywhere!

:eekdrull:

awesome carl! Ive been waiting for you to get your hands on a goprohd! That is great footage! was that the 15m?

I think that video right there sold me on a charger, lol! That thing is so nimble! i just think of how sluggish the phanny seems to that and its nuts!

Grade A stuff! Now you got some more angles to pepper into your vids, cant wait for more!!

What editing software did you use for the gopro footage?

brplatz - 14-4-2010 at 08:16 PM

Awesome Video, I thoroughly enjoyed this POV. I think I like it more than the normal fixed vids!

Keep em coming.

Power, I use Pinnacle Studio for my HD video, full 1080 and 720 support.
