Hi guys just wondering if you could recommend for me:
A low wind kite and a high wind kite!
I was thinking something in the 2.0 meter range for high wind, as it can get very strong around here and a bit hairy on the 4.0 flow!
also it can be very very mellow wind too... so i need something that will like that... was thinking a 6.4 blade?
Any thoughts/advice?Maven454 - 15-4-2010 at 07:53 AM
Get a 2m Flow for the small one :D.Superdog - 15-4-2010 at 10:21 AM
yeah i was thinking either that or the 2.0 meter beamer as its £40 cheaper... much difference in this size of kite?Maven454 - 15-4-2010 at 10:29 AM
They're both 2m, but the Flow's better than the Beamer.bobalooie57 - 15-4-2010 at 10:37 AM
(IMHO):D Hey Maven, we'll have to go head 2 head, your flow against my beamer! Course that I-Buggy you've got coming will probably make me eat dust
anyway!BigMikesKites - 15-4-2010 at 10:40 AM
You will be happy with either. The flow is more subdued. I tend to favor the Beamer.
The low wind kite. 5m and up. Depending on what you want to do with it. Buggy? Board? static?
Buggy - Reactor II
board - Twister II
static - viper, twister, reactor, beamer, flow not in any orderMaven454 - 15-4-2010 at 10:53 AM
I've got to disagree with you Mike. I find the Beamer to be more sedate than the Flow.ragden - 15-4-2010 at 10:59 AM
For a real high-wind engine in the buggy, I have to say the 1.8 Flexifoil Rage is my favorite. But thats for winds over 30mph...rocfighter - 15-4-2010 at 11:08 AM
Man I love the discussions on here. Every one is open and free to say there peace and no hurt feelings. I wish my real family was like this one.Drewculous - 15-4-2010 at 11:12 AM
i'm looking into a twister 7.7 for the low wind days... also have my 12.5 montana that works well! and i want a 2.6 viper for the high wind daysMaven454 - 15-4-2010 at 11:31 AM
man-eater right there in the wrong winds, lol

I would have to agree with the Flow having more performance than the Beamer - but they are both excellent kites and will work perfectly for the higher
wind ranges. (2.0 meter sizes anyways).Superdog - 15-4-2010 at 01:05 PM
Haha, WRT to the Blade 3 gonna see if he will ship it to the UK. Got butterflies thinking about flying that thing... hopefully I wont actually die!
