Skynasaur QuadTrac

Anyone have any info on a Skynasaur QuadTrac or have flown one? I saw a "9m" that was at a garage sale in good condition, so I picked it up. Thus far I haven't found much info other than it was a follow on from the designer of the quardafoil.

I have a Quadtrac 3. The kite is circa early 1995. It was by Ted Dougherty of Quadrafoil fame. Ted Gave it to me in '95. Thanks again, Ted.

It's very fun in high winds. We finally damaged it the last time we had it out so now it's going into the shop for repairs. My daughter loves this kite so it must fly again. :-)

Im not familiar with the Skynasaur quadtrac, but one of my first 2 line stunt kites was a red Skynasaur. They were very fun kites for the very cheap price.

My first stunt kite (only) too! I'll have to check to see what it is but its just a little 2 line stunter. It's the one that gave me the kite line scars from walking back down the lines to launch the kite......it launched before I hit the handles and the line went zinging in a skin-burning fashion across both index fingers. Never forget that day - moreso thanks to the scars ; )

Loved the kite though - and still have it! I SWEAR I could get that thing flying so fast I could take it nose first into the pond at my dad's place and fly it back up and out! Amazing little thing. Bought it local here prob about 20 years ago? Yikes.....could that be?

.........age sets in...........

Big and PINK !!!!

What a SCORE

How much ?

I'm just starting to picture your quiver laid out. What a full mess of colours .

I bought it in a small package deal and probably ended up paying about 40$ for it :bigok:\

I plan to try to fly it at sunset it Sunday if the winds aren't too high. And aside from being a piece of kite history, it would also make a nice wrap dress. Can't decide who should try it on first...

Would go nice with monty's pink tights!:lol::lol:
