Hello I have recently about a month ago started a kite club in wichita ks. Wichita kite club on facebook. I fly as much as I can does anyone have
ideas on how to grow the group. I am guessing consistently flying at frequently traveled areas might help. What do you all think.

definitely flying as much as you can, and in highly visible places. Do you have a local kite store/dealer? (even a toy store that sells some kites?)
let them know and encourage them to tell new pilots to contact you after purchasing a kite.
And something I just learned recently, make yourself a feather banner and plant it out every time you fly. It gives you an air of professionalism
(assuming you put a graphic or name etc... on it) and it attracts more people to me then when I just went out and flew. Also an odd side effect,
folks tend to congregate there instead of running out on to the field. Especially nice when I am flying a powerkite.
If it's an all around kite club contact folks on www.gwtwforum.com , you would be surprised how many stunters are hanging out on there. Also contact AKA for your region (7 same as me) and let
them know. Good luck!

While not everything may be applicable, the The AKA Club Organizers Manual might be worth a gander.
While I don't discount the value of Facebook, you might also consider a static or CMS (Content Management System)- based website. FB requires
that visitors also have a FB account, and content needs to be fed to it on a fairly regular basis to keep from having your entries bumped off of
people's walls.
Running a tad more sleep-deprived than normal, so that's all the jumps to mind at the moment.
ATB,
Sam
