Well, the rain stopped long enough to get a little seat time in the buggy. I used Rasta's Fury, as the wind was only 5-7. I took a little video, but
I really need a better video camera. Here's the link, anyway. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual...rocfighter - 18-4-2010 at 03:37 PM
Very nice Bob. What that at the farm? It didn't look like it. That NPW is very simular to one of my C-Quads. In colors and shape anyway.bobalooie57 - 18-4-2010 at 03:45 PM
No, that was out back at the local school. There's a few 'shadow spots' where the kite will fall out of the air if not worked properly. Very close
to home though, 5 min. NPW's are great, single skin, so fly in light wind, no frame so can't break! They take a little getting used to, but all my
kites did!bobalooie57 - 20-4-2010 at 10:37 AM
It really wasn't enough quality seat time(Sunday), so I took yesterday off, and went to Southwick beach. Wind was great, 10-15 from the W. I buggied
for almost 4 hours!AOXO achieved. I used the twisty tripod I've got for the digi-cam, and attached the camera to the gooseneck, and took video of a
run from the last camping site S towards the cut, about 1.25miles, and back. Video is 9:00 min. long, and kind of jumpy, the beach isn't so smooth,
and there's little shock absorbtion(none). It's still processing, and I'm hoping it plays back better than the last one...:flaming:If not I won't
bother to link to it. The kite, my 2.4M NPW, only makes it into the footage at the very end, when I set it down to stop, and really there's only the
waves, shorebirds, bird poo(green slime) and zebra mussels (white, pebble-like things that make a clatter when I run over them), but when I watch,
it's like being there again!rocfighter - 20-4-2010 at 02:15 PM
Sounds like a good day off from work. But in my case any day off from work is good!! Crap I'm always working. jvegas - 20-4-2010 at 07:14 PM
ummm.... what is this?Maven454 - 21-4-2010 at 02:16 AM
This would be a forum thread. It is how the users of a forum share information with each other :duh:.bobalooie57 - 21-4-2010 at 05:45 AM
Yeah,it was a great day off from work. The video I took is on myspace like the other one, you can use the same link as above, then look for other
videos by bobalooie57, then look for 'kite buggy beach run'. When I upload these vids to my computer, they play smoothly from beginning to end, but
lately when I upload to myspace, they play about 4 sec. then stop for a while, then play 4sec. more etc. It's very annoying. Anyone know what I'm
doing wrong, or is there a fix for this?kteguru - 21-4-2010 at 07:57 AM
Nice vid Bob. Hope to see you at WW:wee:jvegas - 21-4-2010 at 08:02 AM

We have some wind right now but the hike in the park wore out the little one. So she is sleeping! Just my luck!!bobalooie57 - 23-4-2010 at 09:42 AM
After much trial and error, I finally got a 'movie' made and uplaoded it to youtube. It's a shorter version of my run monday, with a favorite song! bobalooie57 - 23-4-2010 at 09:43 AM
yeah, I figured I wouldn't get it right. no time to try and fix the wind is blowin' and I have the day off, going back to the beach!Drewculous - 23-4-2010 at 11:18 AM

dave matthews FTW!bobalooie57 - 24-4-2010 at 09:31 AM
Well, I found movie maker easy enough to figure out, so I converted my light wind session with the 7M NPW, Rasta's Fury, to WMV and added a tune. If
I could only get the embed to work. I hope this is a link to it. <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie"

Shows up for me now.bobalooie57 - 2-11-2010 at 07:50 AM
Resurrected this post 'cause it fit here. I had the Tachyo XC Micro out on Sunday at Duflo's airport. Wind was mostly NW, but light. I flew Rasta's
Fury, and got a little ridin' in. ripsessionkites - 2-11-2010 at 01:19 PM
NICE!!!shehatesmyhobbies - 2-11-2010 at 02:49 PM
Great video Bob, so jealous of the flying spot! We have a couple of grass airports around here, would love to fly them! One is an airport museum,
could probably swing that one if I asked them!bobalooie57 - 8-11-2010 at 10:11 PM
I went to Southwick beach again on Sunday. NOAA said wind would be west at 7-10mph, It turned out to be SE at about 5, but I got some seat time
anyway. Eric Johnson provides the tunes. bobalooie57 - 15-11-2010 at 02:40 AM
So yesterday I met Jan and Jackie at T.I. Central School to get some flying practice with the de-powers. I started out with the 4M Access XC, then
switched to the 7M NPW9, Rasta's Fury. Both being Rasta colored kites, I chose Damian Marley for the background music. Jan and Jackie ended up not
flying, but helping a new girl, Lizzie, learn how. Mike showed up and put his 8M Access II up (also Rasta colored) and took his first runs in Jan's
buggy, unfortunately batteries didn't last long enough to get him on video.
Enjoy!
