Earth Day 4-22-2010, What will you do to celibrate?

Hey tomorrow is our home planets birthday (I guess) So what will all of you do?
I think I will take a long lunch and go to the sand pit at work and see it the wind is blowing. And if not I will comune with the earth for a half hour.
But today I will take our 3yr old grandaughter for a walk in the State Park near us and look for cool natural happenings and pick up any trash we see.
Well we do this every week but today will be a little more special.

Wow.. I had no idea Avatar was being released on DVD tomorrow. I didnt even know it had a release date. Damn, I used to check that stuff all the time and pre-order movies all the time. Fall behind on that. I'll have to see if I can pick it up sometime soon. Saw that in the theatre twice. Would very much enjoy having it at home...

DLC = downloadable content. Things that are added to a game after it's been released.
L4D2 = Left 4 Dead 2. A PC/Xbox 360 game where you're trying to survive a zombie apocalypse.

I should probably know what BC2 is, but it's escaping me right now.

BadCompany 2 Finished most of Modern Warfare 2 but haven't played since I got BC2. I had L4D but not the second one. You and drew play on pc or xbox? gamer tag, you might guess.

i'm waiting for valve to put out a full L4D pack on pc... like they did for half life (that was a sweet game btw--- go buy the orange box... its only like 20 bucks!!!)

I take it in moderation...never mind the 6 max lvl toons I have (almost 7 now) LOL

I played HARD when I was grounded....now I just play when I'm not working and the wind isnt blowing :thumbup:

i had like 4 lvl 50ish characters.. before they raised the cap, and man... i rarely even slept... me and that game mixed a little too well... the blame partially rests with ol' mary jane... lol... weed and wow... :lol:

I quit because I got tired of killing things being the only way to advance. I'm a thief (I'm sorry, rogue, let's be politically correct here), if I have to fight stuff, I've already screwed up. But what really got me was when it told me that in order for my character to advance as an engineer, I had to advance further as a rogue (meaning go kill stuff), are you #^%#ing ^$%#ing me? To build stuff better I have to go kill stuff?!?... :embarrased: *looks around sheepishly, puts the soap box away, and goes to hide in the corner*

And I thought I was a hard-core WoW player. lol
I have two lvl 80s, and a 74 or so. However, I've the max'd lvl toon since the game came out. Raided hard core when the first big dungeons were the rage. Now I raid the big dungones (read Icecrown Citadel), three times a week, late at night. Otherwise, I've got better things to do. I certainly dont play on Weekends. That time is reserved for kiting.

I was hardcore Battle Field 2, after Desert Combat. In the VT squad, played every night, tournaments, one on one ladders, man it was fun. Lost a few years of my life tho, can't even remember those years.

I'm sure I had a wife then but can't tell you much about her but I have seen pics of us. LOL

The Apache's in DC was so fun to fly with a JS. Had your gunner on team speak with the rest of the team.

OH Celebrate? about forgot. I'll work 10.5 hours,come home and eat. rest on here a few minutes, go to the second job and weld boat props a few hours, come home, shower, got to bed and celebrate it all again the next day.

I see a new set of flying lines in my future tho.

To make it special, I might have a couple Samuel Adams Cream Stouts. :thumbup:

I did my share of Earth day cleanup today at my spot. some clown must of lost his single line generic kite in the high winds cause i picked up what felt like 200ft of line all over the field and caught in bushes all twisted up everywhere.....but actually tomorrow I will be at the beach, helping cleanup.:saint:

Ive already planted a ton of plants this year.... if the weather shapes up... i got some raspberries to plant :smilegrin:

id do more today... but i'm out of planting space, and anything i plant today, will die tonite... too flippin' cold... cant even fly today!
