my son has a friend who lost his dad to a brain annuerism. he spends a lot of time with us and last week i took him flying with my family. he took to
it quickly and was flying
my 1m profoil within minutes.
So, with his mothers permission, I am bringing him to WildWood with us. Iwould like for him to have his own
kite.
Who's got a lonely unused kite that needs to be flown.
1 to 3m, any shape, any make so long as it's safe and RTF.
lemme know what ya got, and what ya want. i've got about
2 1/2 wks to make this happen...Maven454 - 21-4-2010 at 08:37 AM
Does it need to be 4 line? Or would 2 line be okay? I can offer either a Prism Stylus P.3 or a PKD Nippair 1.5m.cheezycheese - 21-4-2010 at 08:40 AM
would prefer 4 line so he and my son can play around and learn on the atb... i forgot to mention he was bombing hills on the atb like a
natural...:bouncy:Maven454 - 21-4-2010 at 08:44 AM
He can have the PKD Nippair, might want some regular handles for it instead of the handle/bar combo that it comes with, but other than that...
Remind me about it a WW.cheezycheese - 21-4-2010 at 09:22 AM
dude you are the MAN!!!indigo_wolf - 21-4-2010 at 09:38 AM
Not sure if I have any handles, but I can have Angus ship Maven some HQ XL or PL handles to pair with the Nippair and haul to WW (if he would be so
kind).
Losing either parent sucks and you always think you are going to have more time.

Sam thanks, but you've gone out your way enough already for me. I can handle it from here... :cool2:indigo_wolf - 21-4-2010 at 09:51 AM
Actually I was thinking the handles might have been good for self defense, now that I have volunteered Maven for interest-free Frenzy loans.
Glad you are sorted.

Nah, you're not too late. You can donate a set of handles or we can always give the kid two kites ;-).indigo_wolf - 21-4-2010 at 11:28 AM
They don't let me out of my cage that often.... occassional moonlit romps in the woods, but....
You realize how screwed up your life is when you are on the side of the road somewhere between MA and ME, trying to walk someone through some inane
computer problem via cell phone. I keep pushing for staff training, but it generally results in a lot of head nodding and nothing getting done.
Only reason, I am getting down to DC is I haven't seen my family in close to 6 months. I expect even my bosses are not foolish enough to want to piss
off my mom. One would like to think at least those self-preservation instincts are intact.
