Rip and Daskirtz Show!!!

ripsessionkites - 21-4-2010 at 11:26 AM

we've taken over the nabx forum in the lost and found thread. so its better we just start here. however it did all start a few weeks before NABX and went into full gear at the event.

the old posting was here: http://www.powerkiteforum.com/viewthread.php?tid=13189

whoop whoop kiteloop!!!

mougl - 21-4-2010 at 11:29 AM

You two are WAY too funny...I need to get to NABX next year

rocfighter - 21-4-2010 at 11:36 AM

I think you guys need a poster or something for everyone to see. Or maybe a video opening like all the good shows

arkay - 21-4-2010 at 11:39 AM

I can go pick that up this weekend... I can put a really nice bell on the handle bars. We just need someone to mod the back to add a third wheel and attach a skirt protector for the chain drive.

SCREWYFITS - 21-4-2010 at 01:17 PM

At NABX the whole group (Canadians, Nor-Calers & the Dutch) where hammering each other, and it was totally comical... have to admit, Dino and Rip have a special way of sharing their feelings with one another that inspires the group to join in... LOL...

ripsessionkites - 21-4-2010 at 02:23 PM

don't want to unleash to much, since there is more in the NABX 2010 video i'd like to finish. however more pictures and video keep coming in. were now at 17 mins of action packed funnies.

the teaser:

"dino, get off me so i can finish editing"

putting the frame together

DAKITEZ - 6-5-2010 at 01:44 PM

still not done .. maybe tomorrow

arkay - 6-5-2010 at 02:17 PM

Well, there's 12 bolts and washers... so that should be about 5-6 days?

Drewculous - 6-5-2010 at 02:21 PM

is that my buggy?!?!?!

BeamerBob - 6-5-2010 at 03:22 PM

No this is Dakitez buggy that was left stateside after Nabx. An MG Croozer. You think you had bolt issues, Dino got 5 lbs of broken bolts via fedex with his buggy. That copaslip is good stuff and very useful on stainless fasteners.

Edit: But yes up above there were some indiscretions committed in your buggy.

arkay - 6-5-2010 at 03:22 PM

:eureka:

Actually in all seriousness, please use some anti galling goop on your stainless. Stainless has the tendency to cold weld itself together under good rpm or force. Cheap stuff for your spendy bolts. I was reccomended to use the locktite w/ copper as it seems to last longer, but I'm just have the napa special, as anything is better than nothing.

Ok back to kitezessions :moon:

Ok so crap, I just trippled your buggy built? gotta disassemble, goop, and reassemble, yesh. that's now like T-15 days.

DAKITEZ - 6-5-2010 at 03:30 PM

I have been gooping and I used nylon lock nuts. This buggy is never going to come apart again as long as I own it so I am trying to do it right the first time. Wind looks good for saturday so I might need to get wrenching.

dont forget our favorite too ... REDBULL.

Ill supply the Goose.

rocfighter - 18-2-2011 at 06:02 AM

We need live video feeds this year guys. For those of us who can't make it:mad:

Seanny - 18-2-2011 at 08:42 AM

I think we need to inject Ricardo with intravanious Redbull, and put him in a giant hamster wheel... The Ricardowheel... Which is attached to a generator, effectively providing an unlimited supply of clean energy. :D Am I a genius or what. You can even use the Ricardowheel to power the live video feed :wee:
