i used an regular 4 line bar equal lines (that's trim out and bar all the way in, touching loop.
to compensate for the front to back offset and additional throw on the navigator set up, knots placed on the front line bridle are as simple as it
gets (3-4" is lost on the front but kook tales can help it out if you want it back or ext on the back, it needs about a foot .......

the basic four line , with regular front line slide in position

and an index for those not possessing a size 13 foot "PETE" on the cell. hope that helps
Kamikuza - 21-4-2010 at 06:21 PM
Size 13? How do you get into the Coyotes then?PHREERIDER - 21-4-2010 at 06:27 PM
since the front has been shortened on the vpc , additional tension can be added for feel and turn speed on the rear setting by moving it to the
faster setting away from the kite to make the pulley weigh more forward through the kite.PHREERIDER - 21-4-2010 at 06:28 PM
KK,
custom fitted by dremel ...and that's the daily grindmgatc - 21-4-2010 at 07:59 PM
Nicely done!
thanxPHREERIDER - 22-4-2010 at 05:24 AM
remember a knot length setting has been lost on the front by adding the knot higher up.
SO going back to NAVI/ or whatever matched bar set, you could go to next knot further down or add a pig tail. not alot of difference, most wouldn't
notice, the trim would easily make up for it.
all please remember safety always use your leash to slide ring set up while tuning a rig in, with custom/ shanghi bars, the throw can make
difference and not all are equal.Kamikuza - 22-4-2010 at 06:00 AM

So did you do this just for fun and experimentation or a specific purpose?PHREERIDER - 22-4-2010 at 06:24 PM
yes yes yes more tomorrow ....Wii project callsPHREERIDER - 23-4-2010 at 05:11 AM
Always for fun!
Kite Only info should be out there, i would want to use my old bars/lines. the navi bar is a good set looks and feels just like a NORTH. cross
over use! Its part of having versatile equipment and knowing its applications and limits. i wouldn't own anything that could not be used across the
spectrum. specialized stuff is just $$$$
I specifically like a dedicated water bar and line set, FRESH!. land sets can really get beat up. my land sets are back up for water plus it spreads
the load of time and pressure making them all last longerPHREERIDER - 23-4-2010 at 05:45 AM
finally i get a ground crew
PHREERIDER - 23-4-2010 at 05:49 AM
and of course flight crew, this guy(girl) hangs on for about 1hr 15min session. then thinking i'd shaken it off in the pack up. all the way home
gave to the wife for good luck.
oh the 4 line swap, all good never know it was different

Well, if I ever come back in another life as a lady bug, I know I'd want to ride on someone's kite. No one better to ride with than you Phree. (No
one ever hurts ladybugs do they):duh::Dcheezycheese - 25-4-2010 at 02:59 PM

The worst way to hurt aladybug is drop a kernal of popcorn on the floor (and with the 30 second rule) pick it up to crunch it. Only to find out it is
a lady bug. Oh and you will know for about twenty minutes too. And even brushing your teeth will not remove the dreadful taste from your chops!!
