Set of fatty tires for Flexi Buggy

WolfWolfee - 23-4-2010 at 08:21 PM

Well hard at the buggy again, shoulder still feels like #@%$#! but thats life. Had wild winds last couple of days and decided I need a set of fatty's for the rear on the field for those cruising days. Will stick to the barrow when jumping, but need some extra rubber on the ground when just cruising. They are standard 15mm axles need rims and tires.

Thanks

Check Casterland - they have a great website and great stock. I picked up my fatboys for the polished wheels there. $40 tire and tube. I think they were 18.5 X 8?

Better still - they have a 15mm hub that will bolt right on and then you can pick from any of their wheels including standard split rims all the way to polished aluminum golf cart mags. Oooh I could spend a load of cash there......

Is there one in Edmonton?

What flexi axle uses a 15mm bolt? My wide axle uses a 120x12mm axle.

Yup - 99th street and Whitemud (south west of that intersection).

Well Bob what can I say mine are 15mm this is my third or fourth axle getting old can't remember. Hey Mac what would you suggest for grass, treads or slicks?

I have fatty knobbed tires on my home made buggy. But it is a bit short and tends to drag sideways without them.
