So a while back on another thread the topic came up about devices to scare off wildlife while kiting. I posted that I would like a device to scare
off Terns and Gulls as I approach them on the beach. I have hit them with my lines, never hurting one, but would not like other people to see this
and complain about me (and I really don't like goosing birds with my lines).
So in jumps Australian PKF member Nocando who says what I need are "Roo Scarers" - whistles mounted on their bumpers that scare away kangaroos and
other wildlife.
Well dang, today I get a small package in the mail from Down Under.
Glenn, thanks so much. I have a new Ivanpah buggy on the way and we have JIBE coming up in a few weeks, so these will be put to the test. Gotta
figure out a way to get you back for the huge favor. If they work you can set me up to import them and we'll retire rich!!

I have two of those and one is from Australia. I always feel a little funny when I hold the Australian one in my hand. :Pmougl - 24-4-2010 at 08:36 PM
