Could someone help me with a kite design?

Hi, i'm building a kite, and i want to make the shape a teeny bit like a bird. Anyway i was wondering if i used a design like two power kites joined together with a small body, would it work?
I need it to be a serious kite not like one for little kids or something, but one which flies really well and works as a power kite.

My initial thoughts are; sounds cool but could prove difficult to build.
My reasoning:
Power kites produce a lot of pull so anything trying to hold two together would have to be VERY strong, for the bird like appearance do you intend to have a rigid body? The question over a rigid body is important as when power kites are crashed the can come down with a big thump but as they arent rigid they simpley crumple then re-shape when launched - a rigid body may well break.
My final thought is how will you controll it - controlling one power kite can be hard, two would be even harder, but I'm sure theres a way, perhaps using a controll bar and conecting the two sets of inner lines (nearest the birds body) in a Y
Anyhow it sounds cool and GOOD LUCK! :singing:

This sounds interesting. I'm not a kite designer but have been reading alot about it on the web. Why not invent some bridling system to hold the form of a trailing body and bird's tail while gaining all of the power from the bird's wings. The body and tail can simply be thought of as a tail to the kite controlled or held into place using the bridling system. Use lines inside the seams instead of making it rigid.
