Much talk about kites and ski's. What about Kite boards and boats?
Tridude hooked me up with a big plyboard. Thanks again and still in shock. LOL
Whats this thing going to do behind the boat? I'm thinking it will be slick and being flat I wont be able to plane the boat.
Anybody done this to practice for the big day with a kite?

this is a video of me on my JL133 a very small very stiff kiteboard. not to bad for a ride but far better than a flexible kiteboard. my first go
was on 140 sprint which is razor thin and flexi.. after about 30min i noticed while loaded it has a negative rocker and consider it dangerous. i have
a few pics i'll post tomorrow.
stiff is good to go behind a boat .

Way to go Phree. Looked like a seasoned pro to me. First wake ride? wow!!!
I've tried a real wake board years ago. Didn't hit on much. I know Don's board will come on top quick.
Just don't know what to expect afterwards.
Wouldn't think I could have the boat plane off. Would like to feel the board out some before I get to add a kite. Not looking to use it as a wake
board for weekend riding. My boat will have a hooj wake and more so while not up on plane. I'll look for a pic.
Thinking of keeping it slowwwww. The board wont break, will it?
I need to refresh water skills and learn kite skills then put the two together. LOL
Got to get the kite out and practice what you told me also. Sure helped my confidence in flying it. Thanks.

I rode my 151 behind the boat, and it was fine. I didn't like jumping the wake with the sandal bindings. I like high wraps behind the boat. I just
made some cuts and carves to get a feel for the board. I thought it would be slow but it would turn sharper than my old BAFF hyperlite wakeboard.
Wexler enjoyed riding it as much as his real wakeboard. I couldn't get him back in the boat.
I can't get the pic to embed from facebook but maybe the link will work for you. Friend me if you aren't already.

plenty of boat rocky! totally different feel on a kite .
kite has a HIGH lift vector not felt on the boat. behind the boat is like a kite going downwind kinda feel.
careful

I would think you will be fine as long as you keep it SLOW.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.

this is the 140 SK sprint kiteboard , its super flexi . toeside not as much negative the heelside was very obvious
love this board on a kite, but not a boat.

Thanks guys, I'm gona try it out as soon as I can get on the lake.
Seen the pics Bob, nice. I used the GF's log on. I don't have a FB page but we might try something with hers.
Phree, guess I'll have to do both to feel the HIGH lift vector. Guess thats the kite pulling up instead of forward and down. You guys ride all kinds
of boards. Some just look too small. I have a skiSkat somewhere. It sux really bad. Two foot pockets and not much longer than your feet. Hard to get
up, hard to control and slams you into the water really quick. Years ago.
ragden, when I try I'll see if I can get a vid. I'm sure it will bring a laugh. LOL
I've out grown my wet suit and the waters cold.
