Sup guys I have a sensei 3meter kite I just bought and I have only flown it for about 10 min but this thing is a blast. I had to stop as the area I
was at is a park and people started to show up and I am new to this so I figured it was the safest thing to do. I would like to get an atb and have
some fun with that if there is even an area for that around here. I put up a single line parafoil for the rest of the day but man I cant wait to get
my other kite back up in the air. Are there any other members in this area?

a couple of people in your area and I'm sure they will chime in here shortly.
EDIT: And one beats me to it by a minute ;-) See you guys there!

hazegry - I was just in Virginia Beach on Saturday at the kite festival right at 17th street. There is plenty of high flying kite action down here on
the Outer Banks. Mt. Trashmore can be a got spot for you up there.
Cheers,
Chris

I figured the OTB would have allot of spots I was at the kite festival and was a little disappointed they only had a flying area for aka members and i
didnt see a sign up/info booth. Thats why I went to trashmore but with the PowWow being that same weekend it got busy fast. I am thinking of checking
out sandbridge to see if I can get an open area out there to practice.

I haven't been to the soccer fields by the ampitheater but it looks pretty decent on satellite view...worth checking out. You could always go to the
beach too. Try to stay on the North end...north of 56th street. I'd go up to around 80th because the beach is a little bit bigger up there. Don't
fly anywhere near the hotels. The local kiters have been working with the authorities for a while to maintain our access and the agreement is no kite
flying in the resort area.

Hazegry, with a moniker like that ,you must be a sailor. I got a cool beach over in Hampton that I ride at. You are welcome to come out sometime and
have a go at a buggy or KGB. Get pads and at least a skate helmet, You WILL wipe out sooner or later. I work off of Northhampton blvd and Baker rd.
If ya ever see a white chevy truck w/ a buggy in a rack on the back. That is probably me.
Oh, and welcome to the PKF. WG

I will look around in that area but I know the soccer fields that were by the hs were removed so they could put up the new hospital. I am glad I found
this place seems like allot of nice people on here thanks for all the info guys
