yeah I woke up this morning to :

Sunny and very windy. Highs 68 to 74. West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 80 mph near the foothills this morning...decreasing to 50 mph in the afternoon.

The tarp on the roof next door from the last storm is about to take the the house for a flight. Me... I might just watch. No way to fly safely in this.

just open your coat and go lol

kteguru - 4-5-2010 at 06:59 AM

Perhaps you could share some of your wind with those of us on the east coast. If you send it over now it should just make it in time for next weeks buggy bash:D

One of those days where I won't be working inside staring longingly at the wind, as it's just too much out there!

I took my friend's 1 meter stunt kite out today. He found it in his garage a week back after he got back from his first kiting session with my symphony 1.7m. Turns out his dad picked it up from a pawn shop in the early 90's and forgot about it.
That thing pulled like a truck in those winds. :o It was my first time legitimately leaning back against power from a kite. I'm hooked.

lol thanks, I flew on the tail end of that wind on a new board... which promptly fell off my feet on a little lift and bounced back into my shin. ahhhhhh sweet pain. It looks awesome when I wear a skirt and heels. My legs look like someone took a baseball bat to them.
