In that case, you will be glad to hear that Marie seems to have got it with the buggy. It took a little bit of time, she bought her four meter last September, but all that practice time paid off. Yesterday afternoon after waiting 4 hours, the wind came in a nice laminar 7 kts SSW, (the cleanest and rarest wind direction for our small field). She took off in my buggy and was soon trying to chase after Dusty or Drifter; her, very underpowered, 4m darting across the sky, milking it for all it was worth. It was really great to see the huge smile beaming out across the field.
Congratulations Marie on your birth as a buggyer.
As our local PL rep says Garry Point is just too rough for PL buggys, I guess Jon Ellis will be preparing a quote for the far more durable, but slightly more expensive, Libre Sprint.

A tip for others just starting out: Spend time flying your kite. Practice time static flying is really important. Learning kite control and how to move your kiteto get power out of it is much easier and safer when you are not trying to learn to control your buggy at the same time. When you finally get in the buggy, it all will fall into place much faster. You will be less likely to drop your kite on bystanders. Your fellow buggyers will appreciate not have to spend all their time trying to avoid your falling kite and lines.

OBVIOUSLY, you have something against me. every time it coming across an indirected comments. You made comments and unnamed words to Maria (kitebuggymama - the cooks helper at NABX) directly for no reason. are you twelve?

others have see this issue before, YET you make it bleed over the forum like its some PL VS SC competition.

wow, i will say this again for the time : FLY WHATEVER YOU WANT. I NEVER TOLD YOU OR ANYONE TO BUY / FLY / RACE WITH A PETER LYNN PRODUCT.

if you have this huge beef with me, say to to my face. better yet, come to world cup and prove your kites and yourself.

getting anyone in the sport is the KEY, not the product they use. the sport is so small, its not some special club that you have get invited into.

GROW UP!!!

I am bad with names and not out to entertain some crazy beef you have going !

I meant that nice French Girl who has been learning on her 4m reflex and whom asked about Newport.

Sorry if I messed up with my Letters. Even more sorry I set you up for another of your insults ! Give it UP Please! That is NOT what this forum is for . If you have a beef with any of us please do it person to person and then get over it. It has been 2 seasons already and it's OLD!

Rip,

I do have something against you. You do not stand up for the product you sold to me. Instead of making good you have told me: "I do not represent Peter Lynn, I just sell it."; "The welds on your fork broke because Garry Point is too rough."; "The tubing is guarantied for life, but the welds aren't." etc. Perhaps you should have done more about my fork that structurally failed than offered to sell me a new one at the MSRP. A POed customer can keep coming back up on you for way longer than dim sum at Foody Goody.
