I been trying to untangle those 2 lines for over 8 hours so far

Those line are very slick, but they also twist when not under presure. Like a garden hose when your trying to get a kink out of the middle!
I find if I fix one end to something and walk the other out untill taught, Then they untwist a lot easier. Trying to pull the end through to untangle

Take the entire rat's nest to the backyard. Stake out a majority of the endloops. Start the untangling party. If you have any mini-winders, it can
help to keep the individual lines organized during the process. If you get frustrated... w a l k a w a y for a bit. Do not tug, you'll only form
knots.
If you form knots, careful use of a fid, marlinspike, fine knitting needle, etc. can help. Do not get so aggressive that you start damaging
the fibers.
Warn the neighbors in advance that violence is NOT occuring in your backyard.
You're only upside is that it is not micro-Spectra for an indoor kite..... that's a party to untangle.... especially with cats.

I broke the power line of my 4.5 Century II at NABX and after we caught up with the kite the lines were a large rats nest. It took 2 of us 45 minutes
to GENTLY untangle the orange and white spaghetti.
DON'T pull and DON'T hurry. Start with one end of one line and slowly work it out until it is all by itself, and then work on number 2, and so on.

Finally got it sorted - another 5 hours on just 2 lines tonight
Cat was actually pretty good - only caught him chewing on a leader once.
Usually, I leave one end attached to the handles and wind onto a winder then give them a pull when they're staked and I'm ready to fly ... have had
minimal issues with that seems tension is important.
Something else I learned - make sure when you're flying near trees on shore, you're flying a rental kite :D and have a good bloke who runs the shop
