Firstly, it's Flexifoil, meaning amazing build quality and fantastic at doing it's job!
This kite pulls like a train, and whether you're using it for high speeds in a buggy or on a landboard, or superb scuds on the ground this is the
perfect kite. It has a wind range of, from my experience 3mph-30mph (then it gets too scary for me).
Even at 5mph it can pull me!
Its turning speed is quite fast, when using the break lines in sinc with everything else. I've only used this kite on handles, so I can't comment in
its use with a bar.
Unfortunately, if you're looking at getting some big air, even though the bullet can lift you, you would probably be best looking at a Blade, which is
dedicated more to lift than pull.
Setting up and packing away is just like other Flexifoil- easy and quick.
There's not really much else to say, apart from that I love this kite, and would recommend it to anyone who wants to feel the type of strength
powerkites are capable of!new-air - 27-6-2006 at 02:43 PM
i am a newbie is this an ok kite to start off in say 3mph windsWolfWolfee - 25-2-2007 at 05:40 PM
I would stay away from this if your a newbie. They can kick your butt pretty quick with a little gust.Pablo - 25-2-2007 at 05:54 PM
Yup, got whacked by one last week, Pilot error but the kite didn't give me a second chance either, going for a 180 and as I was facing backwards one
brake line hooked on the other power line and I started looping the kite, didn't realize the problem, applied the brakes harder and the kite looped
faster. out the back of the buggy, left my shoes stuck in the foot straps, got covered in mud.
No serious damage and me and my buddies had a good laugh after but the Bullets can move fast if poked.tridude - 27-2-2007 at 01:43 PM
Glad youre enjoying it! Flexi makes a sweet kite. You right about the quality, and you get what you pay for! A 5.5 is a big foil for a beginner, you
must have skills and or learned them quickly! Fly hard, fly safe! as usual...................................stoaked!!WolfWolfee - 3-3-2007 at 01:43 PM
I have a 7M Bullet on its way, looking forward to giving her some room to breathe.
The Bullet is known for pull, as the Blade for lift. Just ask any Bullet rider an he'll tell you a Bullet can lift you no problem.
So basically the idea is always give them respect, if you think the wind is too strong, well it probably is.
Size is what its all about, right size for the right wind speed.
I always write on the stuff sack what I find to be the best wind speed range for that particular kite.
I am getting old you know, this way never have to guess.
Cheers

Whats a fair price for a repaired Bullet. Factory repairs.5.5?Sthrasher38 - 3-5-2007 at 08:47 PM
Got to fly a 4.5 bullet today fell in love looking for one as we speak.:saint:WolfWolfee - 4-5-2007 at 06:09 AM
I glad you like the Bullet, they are a great kite.
As for the price of a repaired one, hard to say does it come complete with handles and lines etc or just kite?Bladerunner - 4-5-2007 at 06:32 AM
Seems a few folks have been slammed downwind trying to jump with the bullets around here. 4.5 and 5.5 particularly. A seasoned rider just sold (
almost gave away ) his 5.5 after a spanking the other day. He bought this kite from a nube that got the same treatment.
Great kites just watch them. They aren't always as tame as they appear !WolfWolfee - 4-5-2007 at 06:34 AM
I would think that would be a little insane as Bullets are definitely not made to jump.
Who sold their 5.5 looking for a 4 M to finish of my kite collection.

Ken AKA Dirtslide on S.P.. He said he sold it for $100 dollars cdn but he's a joker so could have been teasing me. I thought I'ld try to get it from
him but was too late. No doubt he sold it cheap.
Ken was actually pulling of some respectable jumps with the 5.5 last year. The 4.5 accident was just someone playing around static in moderately low
winds.Sthrasher38 - 4-5-2007 at 05:20 PM

Not 'till I get my Halo and Wings ! :PSthrasher38 - 23-7-2007 at 04:26 PM
I dont really have a clue yet because i have only had my 4.5 out in 15 mph wind. But I do know it is more like a sling shot to me more so than lift.
If you launch in the center of the window and plant your feet about mid way jump. Well it looks more like superman. Its not pretty. I have been lucky
a couple times now.SoMoney - 12-8-2007 at 08:57 PM
Here is a video I saw on YouTUBE of a guy doing a Superman with a Bullet 5.5
