Not the foilzone one then - it is listed as repairs and is close in price to that one ... IMHO go for it :D
tridude is the first person I think of when it comes to Flysurfers here ... did you see his vid of the SA?

PS. there's a 19m SA on kiteforum for E1000 if you're feeling rich ...

will you tell me where it is listed?;) I would probably buy it at that price.

if you are new at this... i dont recommend that kite... i have owned one, and the fabric is VERY fragile... it tears very easily... i crashed mine lightly on its first flight, and it simply ripped... had john told me how fragile it was in the first place, i prob never would have bought it...

so... if you are sure you can fly it without crashing it .... or you simply dont mind fixing it all the time.... then get it... its a good price

but if not, buy at your own risk... it may not be the right kite for you... i learned the hard way

the silverarrow... reg flysurfer fabric is really pretty tough... as a matter of fact even the second generation silverarrow stuff (maybe 3rd) is a lot tougher than the original SA material...

its a catch 22... necessary to stay aloft in light winds... but light usually equals fragile...

the reason it has that weird translucent look is because the threads are actually so sparse that you can see through them up close... cool stuff, i just am not advanced enough yet to be able to put one back in my quiver

Kamikuza - 18-5-2010 at 06:49 AM

Think I'll stick with the regular one too
