After JIBE I realized I was nowhere near where I want to be with the quiver, buggy, etc soooo...

Picked up a second job to fund the addiction, er I mean....addiction. Going back to working security at a club here 3 nights a week. Upscale place so VERY few problems..woohooooo!!!!

Might be able to offer an Arc or two soon...

csa_deadon - 17-5-2010 at 08:49 PM

mougl, you could always just finish buying up my quiver!:lol:

Tri: After seeing yours...eventually yes LOL I want to get buggy freestyle worked on before I hit the water (wait SA works well in the buggy as you demonstrated)

mgatc: Arcs are fun to fly but not sure they are for me yet....might need a little more time on one. Then again, that Phantom 15 I flew was amazing :wee:

csa: that yak has me thinking still  only problem is that we never get that kind of wind here and I have nowhere to put it to GOOD use....just a couple of football field sized fields to fly on :(

be careful you are getting caught in a nasty cycle. Get extra job to by more kites ... then always have to work and never get to fly kites. Ugly cycle I've seen it before. Be careful!

Second job is Thurs/Fri/Sat nights....no big deal there (i think) if it starts to get in the way of actually flying what im working for, im out of there

Ahhh, sounds like me. I've been working my regular plus some afternoon hours welding. I know he's about to call any minute. Did yesterday and I was still spent from JIBE, but extra cash can always come in handy.

Speaking of which, I was asked to start a second shift today at work. 5 an hour raise, wooohooo, but the OT will be cut so it will come out about the same in the end. Same with less hours worked is good tho.

Not arc's:lol::lol: What else is there?

Just kidding, you have to do what you know is best for ya self.

Mel, sweet thang is looking over my shoulder at you talking about selling arcs. What in the world is she thinking?

I think JIBE set the hook on you mougl, Your about to need a big truck to carry your gear.

mougl - 18-5-2010 at 03:20 PM

Oh the hook was set already...and yup, looking at trucks now

I like em! Had a good photographer :)

Seeing you guys at JIBE on the boards made me order one

PHREERIDER - 19-5-2010 at 08:43 AM

cool! order up!

boards are fun, i love getting on the ATB if not enough for the water. the gear is light, one kite, one board, and harness your on in minutes. keeping up with all the pads and 5hit is challenging for me. totally easy on the haul which can be a deterrent if its a big load.

easy on, easy off you'll do it more. and that makes commitment steady .

cool M

mgatc - 19-5-2010 at 09:41 AM

Best prep there is for the transitioning to the water. Similar weight transfers which will have to be learned. The bug doesn't help much with this skill. The ATB will also get you started with - say it with me now - AIR!!!!!!!!!! Whoop, whoop

to celebrate the new income I ordered MORE equipment:lol::lol::lol:
