daily grind ....break time!

PHREERIDER - 18-5-2010 at 06:43 AM

after an incredible spring of wind, countless minor injuries and wounds.

monday morning wife noticed the swollen ankle as well as the girls at the office. and all demanded REST!

so NO kiting MONDAY, despite a swollen ocean and great winds.

i stood in the ankle deep wash and watched a kiter friend and 2 windsurfers go at it. my version of "you need to soak that" .

kinda fun just to watch! i was amazed how far the kiter goes out .. and can't be seen . and realized i am usually on top of this guy! always doing not watching . dumbfounded by perspective, how refreshing.

learning to REST the hardest lesson

and as usual failed to get pics/ video of said body part.

no pain or lose of function since i tweaked it on friday within the first hour of riding.

but i did wear a helmet! (thanks TRI for providing the safety of my thick skull) the helmet was returned and appeared to remain in usable condition. macboy and tri are seeing to the progression of my safety standards!

that's perspective that'll keep you LIVING!

I'm pretty good about the helmet thing but Sunday I headed across the sod farm to meet Dino pointing at his head. In my excitement I had left the helmet on the ground. Turned around to go get it.

Hope the ankle heals quickly Phree.

I was glad to see that there was only a couple of kiters at Wildwood not wearing buckets. And the ones that weren't were getting razzed about it. I got a new cool red one with a skull on it to match my buggy!!

That's cool HR! I'm needing 2 crowns replaced and just lost a filling too. You up for it? I have a low threshold for pain and I'm hard to numb as well. No prob? :tumble:

PHREERIDER - 19-5-2010 at 05:16 AM

oh it would be far better than any TV show.

Hardrock - 19-5-2010 at 03:53 PM

LOL, No problem Bob, I'll knock the rust off the log chains.

I'll probably have to use some JB weld for that filling. I could Tig it with stainless but getting a ground might be a problem unless the chains you'll be wrapped in help. Sorry Phree, but I think we need to go mercury free with Bob.

Crowns shouldn't be a problem unless you want white. The appliance enamel from lowes is available if you want to go white, but white is so old fashion. I'd go Taylors Pride brown. RedMan is too dark.

I have a quart jar of some good stuff that will help if Phrees laughing gas doesn't. Made it a few years ago with a reflux still. Top notch stuff, straight sugar wash. No heads or tails. I'd say about 4 fights per jar/ uncut, nice blue flame with no residue. Must be over 190 proof. + lead free. However, it taste like chit. I think it was the turbo yeast.

Phree, you reckon I could bring some kin? If Bob won't hold still I'll need help with the comealongs and chains.

This might just work.

Phree, I've seen you eat. Don't you eat all my chickens. I know you'll be wanting to fly the Ace every day. So Please, para pack it back like it was yours. No worries if you bust it, we can swap it out for a couple of your chargers.:lol:
