confessions part 4.......

Knew it was going to be iffy today, being a weekend and beaches crowded... Went out bout 5:30 and found a 1/4 mile stretch w/nobody there....

Setup the 15 syn, used Phree's advice and set all straps loose and vpc on middle.... Kite never flew so good.. Had to pull trimmer in to keep from getting lifted off beach....

Out into the water, first try away I go... Up over the waves, a little accidental air, wheeeeeeeee....

All of a sudden there's a bright yellow fishing line... Controlled crash, and of course the board goes on the other side of the line... Walk out of the water around the pole and back into the water to retrieve my board....

Back around the line and go the other way... I dont go so good this way, I have to go a little upwind to stay off the beach... Kind of a slogging style..

Back to where I started and now someone has started fishing there too.... It was empty when I came.........So I packed up and went home.....

But I had the best run I've had up and down the waves....
