I know a few of you have experimented with removing your vpc on PL kites and i was wondering what your experiences where after you did so. I'm
thinking about removing it from my 13 scorpion to see what changed may occur. I know turning will be slower and bar pressure will be more direct. Did
any of you like this? I really like the direct steering feel of my V2, so I think I might try it. Any suggestions?WolfWolfee - 24-5-2010 at 10:15 PM
there is a reason newer model all have them, they work. I love mine and would like to put the system on my Old Guerilla. IMHOPHREERIDER - 25-5-2010 at 08:21 AM
it will work but the forwarding balance along the tip will be lost and will be slow with big slow turns with more pressure. like a phantom but slower
with out constant back line tension this could get messy.arkay - 25-5-2010 at 10:39 AM
I was actually thinking of rigging up a vpc like setup for the v1 to see how that would flyBladerunner - 25-5-2010 at 04:47 PM

Right ! I asked about this before the Charger came out. I wonder what making a VP3 for your Venom would be like? Shouldn't be TOO hard?Kamikuza - 25-5-2010 at 05:14 PM
I think you'd have to unpick part of the edge seam to reinforce the pulley but it wouldn't be impossible ...PHREERIDER - 25-5-2010 at 06:51 PM
it may decrease bar pressure,
but not too much performance enhancement for the tedious job of fixture point location that actually did something to improve it.
a larger bar will always speed things up, really makes the smaller venoms wake up !
