XdisasterXdrewX - 27-5-2010 at 03:58 PM

I just wanted to show everyone this video and see everyones opinions on it.

Is this real or not?

BeamerBob - 27-5-2010 at 04:55 PM

this was passed around last week. I have to go 42 mph to barefoot ski. No way you can step fast enough on plain water and hold yourself up even one step. Gravity wins.

Txshooter38 - 27-5-2010 at 05:01 PM

BeamerBob you are dead on....physics cannot be denied.

My mind is totally and utterly blown that there are people who DO NOT immediately recognize advertisements when they see them, no matter how "viral" in nature

Kamikuza - 27-5-2010 at 05:53 PM

They're not denying the physics, we just don't know what physics they're hiding from us, whether it's rocks under the water or whatnot ...

Jesus-walk is still my ultimate goal with a kite :D

Txshooter38 - 27-5-2010 at 06:08 PM

you are correct...they are misrepresenting what is happening...same as an illusionist.

Your not going to believe it but I had a dream about a year ago I could do just that. Like they were doing it. Never heard of it before now. I probably shouldn't have told that.:lol:

Its all BS in my book.

Why is it so popular? Liquid Mountaineering, how does something like that get around and get started anyway.

highsticken - 28-5-2010 at 08:23 PM

WTF....Why The Face ? did someone actually belive this was real ? All I know is its fake as Pam Andersons boobs and I need some new kicks .

LOL, got to love the crowd, about as close to an infomercial as you can get.

XdisasterXdrewX - 29-5-2010 at 10:27 AM

well i figured that it was fake but my older brothers friend said that he has seen someone do it. im sure they just have little posts that they run on or something.

rocfighter - 30-5-2010 at 04:47 AM

If you watch the running one till the end you can see that the water ripples are reacting to a solid surface just under the surface. Most likely a large sheet of plexi or something. They all run in at the same spot and at the same angle. The ones who fail enter at a differant spot.
Just my 1&3/4 cents!!
