Hit the beach yesterday after work. Winds were on the low end and sunny, BUT 30 minutes later good winds rolled in along with heavy fog. It was like
flying in a cloud and soon everything was dripping wet. The kite got a bit heavy and sluggish once it was wet, but still good scudding. I may wear out
the soles on my boots soon. :wee: Hardrock - 3-6-2010 at 12:44 AM

Scudding like you were on skis, nice!Jaymz - 4-6-2010 at 10:15 PM
Well the trash cans aren't much of a problem. BUT they just put down "speed bumps" I had to jump over tonight. Thick carpet walkways that go across
the beach from the street to the high water line. Guess they're not thinking of Kite Scudding safety here. lol
Wicked nice scuds, Jaymz. Scuds like that, who needs a board or buggy? I like how your scud boots have a spot in your sig. Are they stock or
modified? Your legs/knees must be like steel! Too bad about the carpets, though if you can do it safely, footage of you scudding/jumping them would
be awesome!Bladerunner - 5-6-2010 at 07:48 AM
I watched knowing that you know how to scud / skate.
You make static flying look like a sport of it's own after all. Who needs a stinking ride when you have kite skills and a nice soft beach!

We had a Rando spotting on the beach last night.
He came up with a great idea. Scud races!
But flying on handles was wearing him out. Maybe a stromp will help.
Rando in action.....
