How can I repair a broken brake line?
Not quite sure why it broke. Might have happened when I had to use the kite killers? The brakes were only set on the middle knot, seemed pretty
responsive though.
The wind was maybe gusting to 29 or so. Probably less in town where I was.

I'm not sure you can repair that break, throught you can cut and resleve both lines so that they are the same length. Or you can get new lines. What
lbs test lines were those?

Flexifoil makes a re-sleeving kit for this. you will have to cut down an re-sleeve all 4 to make them the same length.

They were HQ 220lb brake lines.
Yeah resleeving 4 lines! Can never seem to match lengths when doing 2 lines. I was not sure I could resleeve them since the sleeves they come with
are stitched.
Good to know I don't have to buy all new lines.

Right, you will have to cut off the stitched sleeves and secure the new ones with a figure-eight knot. Not as elegant but it works. But if you have
or know someone with a sewing machine and a zig-zag stitch (common), then you can stitch them. What most do is get a piece of cardboard and cut a
slot in it to hold the doubled over sleeved line together nice and neat. The cardboard jig helps run the whole thing through the machine straight and
true.
