Was hopping onto the GI in the wee hours and apparently the site has been hacked. The folks at GI have been working on getting things fixed for a day and a half now. :sniff:

Does this mean that mountainboards are mainstream now?

Does it mean that hackers have grown stupider by leaving their name and email address on the "tag" screen that the replaced the home page with? :puzzled:

Not really, since live.com will let anyone get an account with out really providing any credentials.

No credentials, but unless you are using it as a ghost account.... folks tend to leave a lot of stuff on their email that would make tracking them fairly easy. Amazon receipt anyone?

I just got 35 emails from some med place. Not the same but that BS needs to be stopped.

Are they stupid enough to think you would want to deal with a company that would do such a thing? Just clicking the link may be fatal.

It's bad news bears but if you're ordering anything from GI you can call them while they get their site back up. I just ordered some shiny new red terraintula hubs and they were a pleasure to work with.

Pimpin' !!!! :wee: :wee: :wee:

At least the main site is back up, even if the online store is still down for a bit.
