Apex

Well guys I was out for a little while on sunday and the weather was hot and windy. The wind was steady at 15-18 mph with normal high gusts so I break out the Hydra and it was pulling like a train. Ok that was fun now lets debag the apex, I know winds were probally perfect for this kite..... my skill level not so much :shocked2: This thing yarded me like I never expected it too. It was pulling hard and even lifted me a few times :wee: then the unexpected, a big gust just about yanked my arms from my body and lifted me so fast all I could do was peddle like hell hoping I was gonna gain footing and control soon. Feet stung as the hit the ground literally running and brought her down safely, changed my drawers, flew a little more. Now I was ready to get on the board.... launched the kite and wham! Down the field on my back..... top hat release...... need another pair of drawers... all in all and very good learning experience.... Apex I 5m aka. ass kicker

Honestly, at 15-18 I would have expected a 7.5 Apex to be more suitable. Though it would depend on the gusts.
