Need Some website help...

flyboy15 - 12-6-2010 at 05:18 AM

Hey guys I've done some tweaking on our club site check it out - http://snowkiting.com/undsnowkiteclub/

But I have much more to do (I'm about 20% done)

I could use some suggestions but most importantly I need some help. I'd like to add a weather or wind ticker to the home page that scrolls, etc. I have a weather page, with an weather.com feed and some links, but I'm looking for direct information on the home page. Let me know what you guys think (the default RSS from weather.com includes radar and pollen and all that non-sense :P)

Again other suggestions are much appreciated :)

Thanks ladies and gents!

Matt

Most of the website is still in old style mode, and many links are broken right now. So once I get everything in place, I'll work on the guts and article updates and such

try www.localkitespots.com you can make your own spots and they provide a 7 day forecast. For ND

http://localkitespots.com/kitesurfing/North%20Dakota?static=...

or weather underground for current stats. for North Dakota I think it should work.

Haha! Kami this whole time lol....thats kinda funny. Yea university of north dakota = UND. we are the collegiate snowkite club here in grand forks, ND holding down the fort for the GF, Fargo area. We're not the first to come through here. Other legends precede us such as Eric Byers, Sam Salwei and Jason Magness (idk if you guys have heard of them). Those guys kited from Canada to South Dakota :o

However airline pilots make fun of our flight school graduates and call them UNDies lol. I get to look forward to that...
