you don't need fins. my ss glide has 1" fins which are way small. my ply board has no fins and works great.

no, sharp rail on the board is plenty. softer railed boards my do better with fins.
light wind boards like the glide are slippy and fast w/o finns and thats what you want (or thats what i like anyway)
finns will only help hold a point of sail if you can;t edge.
1 session w/o and you'll be over the finn thing for the board.
actually a good skill builder to go with out

I wondered about that. Didn't know how to ask.
Fins are on the way tho.
I got the board from dylan. Great guy to deal with. The box had been treated rough, one end open in areas.
He had removed them and put then under a foot strap. They came loose and come out of the box.
He found out UPS auto insures up to 100 bucks and have been in contact with them to reimburse me for the fins I bought. I ordered the ebay ones like

Anyway if some wind don't show itself on the weekend soon, I'll be trying it out behind the boat like the plydoor.
