Drew had some pretty good suggestions from a post for naming his new kitty.
Thought I would ask about a puppy name. He's so laid back that we are not getting any ideas yet.
Beamer sounds different and cute. (did I just say cute? Hmmm)
He's a bit stained in the pic, but we'll get him white like he should be in time.
Any Thoughts on a name??????

How bout "Zen"?
Its perfectly ironic for a hyperactive puppy:evil:.dgkid78 - 26-6-2010 at 08:46 PM
I had an Albino German Shepard when I was a kid named "Aspen".....kinda sounds like a big dog name though. I got a cat and a dog named Lucy and
Andy....human names...I know weirdarkay - 27-6-2010 at 01:54 AM
Zephyr
Venom (kinda funny considering)
Zeppelin
Oakley

We have cats named Ford and Zaphod. I like using character names or translations from other languages, especially Latin. Incidentally, one Latin
word for white is Albusrocfighter - 27-6-2010 at 04:57 AM
Either name him "sit" or "stay" It will mess with others but he won't care.acampbell - 27-6-2010 at 05:05 AM
I too have used translations, often from Russian.
We had an all black dog named "Chorney" (roughly the translation of "black"), so that we did not have to call him "blacky".
We now have "Bistro", roughly transliterated from "quick" or "fast" (which the French borrowed to mean "fast food").
And we have Nikki, short for "Nikita"
So in the same vein, you could name your dog "Byeli", or Belly", roughly, (really roughly) transliterated from "white".heliboy50 - 27-6-2010 at 05:14 AM
I just got it. Fizzgig. My GF suggested "Lint" (dryer trap.)Hardrock - 27-6-2010 at 01:27 PM
LOL those are some good names.
She is leaning towards "nono" and spelling it different. Really got a kick out of pokitetrash calling one of there dogs that.
Lint is easy to say. I like easy names that I would probably call him anyway, he getting called a lot of things right now.alasdair macleod - 27-6-2010 at 01:59 PM
i'd go with hamish because he look a wee bit like a scottish terrier and it was great scot cop tv prog called hamish macbeth , he had a wee terrier.

The name Ice came up short for Icing, like on a cake.
Its hard to think about it because he's a baby now, he won't be baby long and names like pookiepoo might not be too good.
Hollywood kind of fits his walk. He bounces. But that would be more like Danni Ashe.shaggs2riches - 27-6-2010 at 07:04 PM
Dog names I think are cool but might have to fit for the dogs character are Lennox and Charger (no pun intended) seen the first on a pretty laid back
dog and the other on an over excited pug. Just my $0.02kteguru - 27-6-2010 at 08:07 PM

Some days it really seems that way.
@mougl- Yeah I try to stay in the geek room most of the time. All the bright light outside hurts my eyes.Hardrock - 28-6-2010 at 11:35 PM
Kind of leaning towards BuddyBoy or just Buddy right now, for some reason we've been calling him that, I guess because we don't have a name.
Sakima has been a thought also, meaning Chief or King in Native American.
I knew a cat named Buddy once, its easy to baby talk him with that name.
Need another pic, that one makes him look bigger than he is. He's a tiny little thing.Hardrock - 30-6-2010 at 06:57 AM
OK BuddyBoy it is,
Sorry nobody won the 9m Phantom for selecting a name. Maybe we can have another contest later.
