rocfighter - 27-6-2010 at 02:55 PM

Yup your wacked :flaming:

Drewculous - 27-6-2010 at 08:07 PM

mmm it just sounds good... spicy ice cream? who wouldn't love that?

mougl - 28-6-2010 at 09:31 AM

I consider myself a chile head but damn dude, that's taking it to a whole new level

Maven454 - 28-6-2010 at 09:34 AM

Sounds kinda awesome to me :D.

mougl - 28-6-2010 at 09:39 AM

I agree Maven...one of those things I need to try, but I'm a bit aprehensive still

acampbell - 28-6-2010 at 01:08 PM

Ask him about his Jolakia Peppers. 855,000 scoville units (compared to 5,000 for Tobasco)
:wee:

mougl - 28-6-2010 at 01:31 PM

I have some jolos @ home :)

I use them VERY sparingly

Txshooter38 - 28-6-2010 at 03:46 PM

I would love to introduce you all to some homemade south Texas hot sauce.....sounds like some of you kindred spirits would really like it. If your not sweating and crying when I'm done with you there is a money back guarantee. :bouncy:

I can add a shot of pepper spray to the top just for good measure! :o

mougl - 28-6-2010 at 03:49 PM

I have a story about a texas chili cookoff I need to send you when I get home LOL

Drewculous - 28-6-2010 at 04:29 PM

the thing about pepper spray is the delivery.... i honestly might use it to intensify a dish... if i knew it was just straight pepper spray, and didnt have any additives... that and the delivery :dunno:... how do you season a dish when half of it is put in the air... poor design

Angus... there was a batch of Bhut Jolokia peppers from the new mexico chile pepper institute that topped 1,000,000 scoville units

Hey Tx... if ya want, send some saucy goodness my way... always down to try some heat!!!

I go through a few ounces of jolokia powder every couple weeks... (unlike mougl... i use a lot of it... on just about everything) so somethin new is always good....

my new endeavor... now that i have the space... some horseradish! Some of my inlaws grow and process it and the procedure sounds an awful lot like my pepper prep... gloves, gas mask, in the garage...

omg... Jolokia-Wasabi!!!

arkay - 30-6-2010 at 11:42 PM

sweet, thanks, on order :)

rocfighter - 1-7-2010 at 05:15 AM

I work with a bunch of hard core mexican pepperheads. I told them about the Icecream and they said Gringo's are @#$%^ing Loco :flaming:
And these guys sit in the hot sun and eat peppers that make my eyes water just being near them. They are wacked like you guys!!!

Drewculous - 1-7-2010 at 07:05 AM

got some habanero pistachios last nite... mmm they are good!

mougl - 1-7-2010 at 08:10 AM

Hab pistachios??? WANT!!!

I don't go heavy on the jolos. Don't get me wrong, I love food with a kick but I got humbled by a friend with jolos once. Don't want to do that again

Drewculous - 1-7-2010 at 10:28 AM

My humbling was with cayennes once... a few guys and myself started kicking fresh cayennes off of my plant, see who was manlier i guess... they stopped at two or three... i stopped when the plant was picked clean...

lets just say it wasnt hot going down (it was, just not for me lol)... but 20-30 fresh, ripe cayennes, stewing in your empty gut... is not fun! (the next morning wasnt the most pleasant either  )
