Talk about bee on crack, holy moly......
Traded my syn 15 for a 10 and it arrived today... Luckily it was blowing today, storms moving thru....
Took it to the beach in between storms, wind blowing 17-21mph.. Was expecting less than average performance, thinking it needed 25 to come alive...
Set it up, launched it and zoom right up to the zenith...Not like larger arcs I have flown which rise peacefully... First couple of turns resulted in
long feet barely touching the sand scuds... Hands in the center of the bar, don't need much input to make this thing dance.... This kite turns twice
as fast as my syn 12 did.....
Wind was blowing sideshore, didn't want to go out to sea w/ it but figured I should see how it does on the water....
Up on the board and on the upstroke kept getting the kite behind me... Too used to horsing the Flysurfers and bigger arcs... Didn't play in the
water long, another storm approaching..
In the short hour I played w/ this kite I know already that I love it.... Super fast turning, arc stability (watching it pulse in and out w/ the
gusts) and idiot proof self launching and landing....
Can you tell i'm pleased???
Thank you Woodland for the great trade.... I hope your happy with your new syn 15 as I am w/ the 10
So I don't need any more kites now, except maybe a........................................ or a.........................
I'm addicted and I ain't gonna stop !!!!

Awesome! I'm glad you got the kite and are happy with it. I've got a couple more days yet till the 15 shows up, but I'm sure it will be awesome. We
just don't get the wind for a 10 to be useful that often. I figured you would be surprised with how fast it is. The times the wind was good for it on
the snow I had to sine it just to keep it from hitting the edge of the wind window. I'm sure that had something to do with the internal strap
settings, but for sure that thing is a rocket. I'm having a little separation anxiety just thinking about it. It was my first kite after all. There
will always be a sweet spot in my heart for that thing. Enjoy and take good care of it!!!

This was perfect timing since I get mine this coming weekend. I'm going to be thrilled to have a kite I can be comfortable with when its howling
outside. It will be fine for lakebed use as well. Keep the daily grind coming. Sounds awesome so far! :wee:

I've seen video of the 8 and 10m Chargers and am horrified with the turning speed with my steam-powered mental capabilities, even with the 19m Synergy I'm often looking back at it just in time to watch it nose-dive into the water
:D
The Speed 1.5 is more my speed ... so to speak

cool,
when i dropped down a size 16 to 13 it really gave me better flow and feel, with just the right amount of power.

Borntofli....how much do you weigh???
borntofli - 8-7-2010 at 04:15 PM

K...I understand the trade you made now....I would have jumped on that 15m to go with the 12m but I got vetoed when it went to the misses for
approval. Blue skies to ya.

Buy first, then ask for permission......
(Can you tell i'm not married?)
Txshooter38 - 8-7-2010 at 05:53 PM
Right....I negotiated to a 7.7m Twister so I didn't do to bad. Negotiated being that I ordered it after she turned me down on yours and then told her
I bought a cheaper kite. I made sure to prep her with a coach purse (if you don't know what this is you should remember it for the future) to grease
the wheels....
As a side note to you guys out there...if your wife/girlfriend asks to go to the coach store you should definitely go. The scenery is to die

You need to take up smoking ... then quit - you can milk the "So glad I gave up tobacco! I can easily buy another kite with the money I saved from
this month alone!" line for y-e-a-r-s, I promise you
