Hi guys i have a question:

Basically I was curious if it is possible to extend the leash attachment to below the bar safely. My leash is a bit short and gets twisted around the
depower line frequently. seems like it would be easier if it were on a below the bar attachment

You are thinking of running a line through the bar, attached to the normal leash point? I have not yet seen a "retrofit" of this style be safe, and
I've tried it myself on two kite bar setups, with poor results.(Many tangles on center lines).
I have no idea how Flysurfer does it, to make it not be a tangly mess, but damn I love it.

yeah that's exactly what i was thinking. I might try and rig something and test it in light wind just to see for myself how it behaves

the line will still twist , some loops have rotary attachments that help counter this but still may occur.
or use suicide style.
other wise you have to keep up with loops and fly them out in the other direction.
if you are dependent(if you use it alot) on the safety system don't use suicide style!

Wannabe- I was unsatisfied with the attachment point on my Slingshot Ranger12(like everybody else), so I experimented with several ideas, including a
bar-pass thru. Exactly like Phreerider said, it'll loop and tangle and you have to opposite-loop (or self-spin) to get it out. In low winds(looping
for power often) this quickly became problematic. In high winds where I did not loop the kite, I had no problems.
I have since switched to "oh#@%$#!" loops on the bar-end connections, and attach there. While it does not solve the problem of "loop=twisted", it
allows me to fully discard the kite and it will 100% lose shape and power down.
Best of luck to you in figuring out what will work for you.
