nice indeed..............same flying characteristics of the 13 but turns very fast....................today may have been the first day this baby was
flown on water, again same as the 13.........winds were SSW @ 18 knots........ 6'2 Davo Fish (strapless)................nice chest high swell outside
the bar on an incoming tide.....................power delivery smooth but direct, good grunt but power thru sining is available when you need
it.................flown today in the lower end of the power band....................top end has to be 30 plus...this will be a stellar high wind

What year rev?
tridude - 17-7-2010 at 02:05 PM
the 13 and 9 are both 08s and may have never been flown..................they are both cherry...............I had to seat the bridal connect points at
the kite on both so little or no tension had been applied...........................the 9 is very fast but stable as a rock.....................I
would recommend the Rev to a beginner or seasoned vet......................my son flies the new North Vegas' and he was very impressed by both
kites..............................:duh::duh:

I'd also have no worries recommending a REV to a newb kiter. An excellent kite. I am hoping to get my hands on a RPM for a day or two sometime soon
to see how they compare to each other. Bur honestly, the RPM made me seriously consider owning a LEI again....
Another awesome kite to a good home. I'm always glad to see a sale on here, because the new owner will always tell us about it, really helps flesh
out the available kite reviews!

Tridude
Sounds so good I want my kites back:wow:
but not enough to get out the pump:singing:
I guess I have a pump phobia.
Glad they are working for you....:wee:

round 2 on the twin tip today................winds were SW 18 to 21, 3 to 4 foot swell outside the sandbar on a rising tide...............grunty for
its size but easy to produce power thru speed/sining............fast turner makes it easy to wait that last little bit to carve off the top and down
the face...........no problems staying down the line but once the wave closes out pull in the bar and away you go..........nice jumps with
surprisingly good float.................great kite from 16/17 kts up to who knows..............................def my new high wind
engine..................

third 20 mph session on Thursday..........................awesome kite in the waves, upwind and jumping......................highly recommend for a
high wind kite
tridude - 13-10-2010 at 07:05 AM
14/15 mph at best yesterday with the "door" and had no problem staying/going upwind outside the sandbar.......chop/waves were minimal so not as much
"rear" heel pressure needed..............I was the last one on the outside as the sun started to set...........kite speed and board combo provided
ample power and speed for a nice evening session................the 9m makes for a great buggy kite as well...............forgot to mention I had to
ride this setup because Im waiting on my 2011 Argo to arrive.......

nice 1 hour night kite session Sat eve and this kite is amazing..................winds were 18 to 22 kts, a bit punchy at times but the kite is very
solid at not twitchy at all.............self launch and land in the dark is/was easy peasy....................big range on this one for me 16/17 to 30
mph..................robust and great design by the folks out in Oregon..................
