Had a good day, almost.
Tried to launch the 19m from the boat. Kite took over the boat so sweet thang said get in the water and she'll do the inflate.
Got in with my winder, it worked very well. Let the lines out, took the bar an left the winder attached to a life jacket.
Inflate was going to take a few so I figured I would return the winder. Back at the boat I noticed I had put the lines on wrong.
Tried to correct it but two got away and the wind and waves were bouncing the boat like a rubber duck in the bath tube.
Swam back to get the loose lines and what a mess all wrapped around the bar. The wind drifted the boat and pulled the bar the distance of the lines
already.
Time to abort. Even the abortion was tough. LOL
Finally with things packed up and on an island, decided to try and launch the Hydra. Was out of the wind on back side, inflated it and carried it
around the bend and off into the water. Walked right into a pile of boulders, busted it good.
Have a blue swollen toe now. As I was struggling to get out I looked upwind. Black sky everywhere. Now 21 miles from the boat landing the race was on.
Worst storm we seen this year. Made it home safe tho. Took awhile in the down pour we stayed under the whole way.

The lake turns left on the way back and the storm was getting if front of us. Behind us was almost total darkness.

That looks like a good one coming! I always thought it was fun to "have" to run the boat wide open to beat the storm or at least minimize my time in
it.

Was waiting on something to drop out of one of those babys. got under a bridge for a few, the wind was mad under there and she said we better go on,
so we did.
Couple hundred yards away from it, turned around and couldn't see anything behind us. Put the hammer down.
