Being the light wind time of year I usually find myself riding the parking lots and deserted roads with a foil and my skateboard. If it's 5-15mph
this is ideal for me, just put on headphones and ride for hours.
:wee:
I was out looking for a new kayak put in spot the other day and ended up finding an excellent new spot for skate kiting. So if there are any other
locals who have the same interest I thought I'd post info on this new place I found.
It's basically a new residential subdivision that has just the roads in and house pads graded out. I don't think there are any plans soon to start
putting houses in so it's perfect for what I like (for now).
Here's map to the spot.
I've been going out here for the last few days and riding. As you can see from the map the roads are orientated to ride most wind directions. The
main drive is the widest and is sweet for the SE winds. If anyone is interested in checking it out U2U me and we can meet up.
