Peter lynn pro bag

Wanting to know what you guys think of the Peter Lynn Pro bag. I'm heading to Vancouver Island for two weeks at Christmas time and in my wife's words I'm only allowed on kite bag. She never stated how big of kite bag so I'm looking for a compact way to pack the scorpion, synergy, access and trainer kite into one bag. I have limited space in my Pathfinder with third row seating up and a thule box already full of snowboards otherwise I'd put them up there. If it will fit as well I'd break down the ATB and include it in there. I noticed on another thread somewhere the Rip can pack down an entire XR+ buggy so thought that this might just solve my issue. Thanks in advance for any input

thats right one XR+ in the bag, but i dont recommended this in anyway.

ive fit about 3-4 maybe 5 arcs into the pro bag loose without the backpacks. you can buy Glad Vacuum Travel bags too to compress the arcs if you need to fit more.

I have a series and a half of Vapors in mine.
I like the added features of the large pocket on the bottom for my harness, and also the secret pocket inside the hood for my keys and wallet.

are you stopping along the way in Vancouver / Richmond?

My LEI pump does inflate/deflate ...

Manual packing of the arcs I'm selling ... half (tip to tip), half again, then thirds, tucking the deflate zipper end under ... then roll the length SLOWLY & GENTLY to get the air out then unroll and fold that in thirds ... I reckon I could get 4 arcs in the older PL bags without trying actually, if you rolled them then strapped them you could probably get about 6 in an old style bag without too much stress. Unzip the bottom and you could get EVERYONE's kites in there

It sounds like you want to buy the PL bag anyway... If cabin space allows it, I would say go for it.

If you are cramped for cabin space you might want to see if a Series 3 Sportube has enough capacity for you and throw it up next to the Thule. Pricewise, it's in the same range as the PL bag.

Of course, some creative packing of the wife might make the whole matter moot. :o
