Hello,
I just discovered this section of the Power Kite Forum. I live in seattle and am moving to portland next week, Can someone give me info where to find out more about SOBB and upcoming events?

Thanks,
Stace

P.S. I just static fly at the moment and am interested in getting into boarding and/ or buggying.

This is a good place to get started...... SOBB runs sept 6-11 at sunset beach. There will be plenty of buggiers, boarders and kitesurfers to help you along. But please, feel welcomed to come anytime. It's very rare for there to be wind and for there not to be anybody out there.

Welcome to kiting and to Oregon. Look forward to seeing you out there.

Hey guys,

Just started kite buggying, and caught the bug. I live in Warrenton, and have seen you guys on the beach having a blast, thought I would join in. I have had some friends you would know that buggied with ya. Like I said I'm a rookie, and am a sponge, drop me a line when your down on the beach. I would like to join ya, and learn more about the sport.

Hi there, I'm from Vancouver BC, so unfortunately heading down to hang out for a day isn't really possible, but if you guys are getting together for a weekend anytime before the SOBB let me know. I'd like to head down and hook up. Emily Edmonds has had nothing but praise for you guys down there. I could probably learn a fair bit from you guys as well.

Is there camping in the area?

There is a kite gathering at sunset beach on the 23rd of this month and should be a few of us there. Hopefully you can make it there....

Unfortunately I spent the weekend helping a freind move long distance, no kiting for me.

Is there anywhere to find some info on the SOBB to use to drum up interest. I'm wanting to get a bunch of us from the Vancouver BC area heading down for the event.
