At Wildwood this spring we had a little give away, and I got some new small kids kites. Todd said he wanted me to pass them to some kids. So Todd,
today I gave two kites to some kids. Their parents seemed concerned:o at first, then I explained that I belonged to a kite club and one of the things
we do is go around promoting kiting to kids.:saint: Then they seemed OK w/ it. Debt paid.
Uh, now I need another kids kite to carry around until I find a kid who looks like they need a kite. Who sells those cheap disposable kites
anyway? I need to get a batch of em'.dylanj423 - 8-8-2010 at 04:30 PM
It was a great idea up until I noticed the shipping price :shocked2: The plan was to order 13 (highest you can order) and the shipping came to $65
bucks I'll stick to the dollar kites found at the local Walmart and drop a
twenty to stock up!
Donnie, glad you got rid of them Brother... feed the fever!rocfighter - 14-8-2010 at 05:32 AM
I was at Walmart last week or so and they had a big section of the two for a .50 kites. I carry a few packs in my stuff for just the same reason.
It is so hard to have this trailer full of kites and toys and some parent asks if I sell them so there kid can fly and I have to say "NO" then look
them in the eye. Much better to give away a couple cheapo's and make every one happy. Including me.
