So, waiting for the snow and looking through a window seeing that the trees move in the wind. I got an idea that my kite at home surrely can be put to
more fun than just flying it around
So the board is done. Trunks were widen and moved forward. Still looking for some decent wheels. Have in mind that landboarding or even any kiting
sports aint that popular here for some unknown reasons...
Now its time to get a decent de-power kite And start flying some new beasts

Are you in the Serbia or Croatia area? The board looks pretty good for a home brew.
It also looks like you do a lot of board slides
The wheels look like they might be a problem. They might be okay for very limited cruising. They look like they might be a problem the first time
you do any kind of sliding or drifting though.

your gonna roll an ankle on that thing. trust me i tried building my own before i gave in and just bought one.
u can get a gi flight for dirt cheap now
indigo_wolf - 24-8-2010 at 08:45 AM
Dirt cheap varies from country to country.... truly.
Especially as GI distribution is almost nil there, if my guess on the locale is right.
MBS almost, but doesn't quite reach that far.

@indigo_wolf
I am from Croatia. Yeah the board was a gift and it really did take alot of slides You should see the stairs where it slided :P :P They didnt go much better
Wheels are just for first try. It was taken off a baby cart.. As... with everithing.. Here there arent any 200mm wheels to buy. I could get them off
ebay for 20 punds + 35 pounds for shipping..
Sadly.. Thats too much for me right now as I am spending all the money in a decent kite and making the buggy.. But will get some sooner or later.
@Houston AirHead
U cannot buy anything for kite landboarding here.. There are no forum and I doubt that are more than 10 ATBs in whole 5 million country.. Yeah.... We
suck at any sport that aint soccer or basketball + people that could promote new sport dont couse noone from the offices that are involved in sports
wont help abit..
Wait wait :P It aint done yet.. I have tons of snowboard parts to spare so will make a decent strap for them
indigo_wolf - 24-8-2010 at 01:29 PM
Snowboard-like strap show up on a lot of boards by a company called No-Sno (UK).
There is at least one other person in Croatia ( Zaprešić ) that is mountainboarding :

Keep us posted on how you get along with the board.
www.surfingdirt.com is a mountainboarding forum with people posting from France, UK, US, New Zealand, and quite a few other places.
