Took out the 16 venom, wind was 10mph gusting to 18 every so often. Took a couple run on the board across the field at first. Wind kept changing
directions from north east to west/northwest. The shifty winds shouldve been my hint to take it easy but nooooooo! I hadn't flown in a month so I was
eager. Went for a jump losing my board and floating about above my buddy. Started to float down and caught a gust lifting me higher. When I redirected
the wind shifted directions shooting my kite across the sky so fast. I came down hard bouncing my entire body off the ground. Luckily I didn't break
any bones, but I can't sit on my left butt cheeck. My back got tweaked a bit, so I'm gonna rest fir a few days.
Lesson of the day, don't push the limits when the wind is acting all sketchy. Now to find a comfy chair to sit in

don't forget this occurrence next time when "you gotta ride"
getting wacked is a spoiler.

Happened to me about this time last year - I spent 3 days huddled in my tent at one of the best but more remote local flying spots because it was
blowing 35 - 40mph!
on day 4 it dropped to 27 - 29 with the odd gust and I was so frustrated i set up and started riding because the wind was technically under my "stop"
point at 30mph.
it was soo scrappy with lots of direction changes and within 10 mins I was given a total yarding and found out the difference between "a bruise" and a
"subdermal haematoma"
So yeah, frustration causes accidents people...

I only wish i had it on video. I had my camera with me, but didn't get it open in time. It would've been an awesome crash clip for the forum

wish you a good recovery.
