Im thinking this is the year to switch to de-power was thinking of the montana V 9.5m. I weigh approx 200lbs the winds are from 13kph to 25kph. Here

Dude you could have picked a better time. Check out the For Sale section the post labeled "ANOTHER HQ Montana V 9.5..." You could pick up this kite at
a great price. From what I'm told the Apex 2 will get you air, the Montana will get you more. The Montana will do everything the Apex will do and then

The Apex is billed as an entry level de-power but the Montana is just as easy to fly- just more power and performance per sq. meter. I agree that
the 12m may be better for your weight in snow. It's a lot of kite to move to - de-powers are always bigger - but a little intimidation will help keep

I vouch for the montana over the neo if you are looking for some pop. I described my Montana to another rider as having the pop, but then then it
becomes my Mary Poppins kite. If I mess up a trick it lets me down gently ,like I am floating like mary poppins. Don't get me wrong, I love my Neo
II, but I tend to use it as my all around hauler and engine. Kinda my 'tanS-P-A-M-L-I-N-K- of the bunch, not really the one I want to be flying when

New Apex will have the Montana bar and 2-pulley mixer
It's not out yet but would have been able to use it this week; they have a good chance of being hit by Earl later. HQ may have to shut down for a few

The winds clean up here pretty good in the winter, a little gusty but nothing to be concerned about. The summer is definately worse. I like the Apex2

Apex II is 10m (biggest), Montana V has 9.5 and 12.5
