Realy nice video. What was the wind speed? You were sure working it a few times.

Krohn1999 - 15-9-2010 at 03:53 AM

If you think the 8,6 pulls good grab a 10,8!!
then you are ready for just about all winds!

Great video with plenty of different angles, was it movie maker again? The Reactor II was looking like a gentle giant cruising to some Boston!

All I gotta say is that I love it brudda!!!! Really good work on the video and it sure did make me wish I was still there.:ninja: Im going to talk to the old lady about wild wood next month so I can try to shoot out there with ya.

Looks like a beautiful beach you've got there for buggying Weldngod.

WELDNGOD - 15-9-2010 at 01:52 PM

@Roc, maybe 5-6 mph, just a slight breeze. At times I would lose inflation from going too slow . You gotta powerfly it and keep it moving or it will just slide sideways to the sand.
@Todd, yeah windows live movie maker. It's free to download. Still gotta wrap my cranium around vegas pro9,it's pretty complex.
@ Chris, I wish you were still here too. Maybe I'll see ya at WW.
@ airin, I love that place. It is a nature preserve, so it is raw beach. No water fountains,no bathrooms, no nothing but beach. And it is a good hike to get to it. Keeps the rif raf away!

Another nice video WG....so how long is that beach....looks like you could have went a while longer but I'm assuming you didn't in case the wind died?

BTW - I got the Reactor I 8.3 and the Reactor II 10.8....great kites...and also, if I'm ever in your neck of the woods, you've gotta try my Vapor 16.1 in those winds....:wee:

ripsessionkites - 15-9-2010 at 08:59 PM

Nice video!!!

+1 on the vapors and rIIs ... thats all we used at grayland in the latest video. I kitesurfed with mine down there but needed a bit more wind or bigger board.

arkay - 15-9-2010 at 09:31 PM

The Vapor 16 is choice under 10. I'm still it awe that I got to 29.9 (grr so close) in 4mph. It's got great speed control and turning.

popeyethewelder - 15-9-2010 at 10:58 PM

Great vid there WG

sorry off topic

im not, the RII and Vapors perform well in extreme light winds. ozzy did something like 60km on his 16.1m ... INSANE.
than again he is like 3 of me. hehehe.

PHREERIDER - 16-9-2010 at 05:39 AM

well done ! really got the multiple perspectives stitched together nicely.

so right on with the DRIVE ...buggy, kite, wind all got to flow and you can ride right down to nothing! very nice.

didn't realize it but what a drop on the ride , that thing is low!

WELDNGOD - 16-9-2010 at 06:12 AM

Those drop spindles can rotate to different positions so I can vary the ride height according to the terrain.

Nice video Donnie! You ever think about picking up some of those rocks on the beach! Just kidding. Your spot really looks nice!
