I couldn't be happier to say that my wife and I are expecting our first child - due on March 26! :wee:

so how young is too young to start kiting??? I knew I kept that hq symphony 0.8m for something

WOO!

flyjump - 21-9-2010 at 04:10 PM

Congrats dude!

WELDNGOD - 21-9-2010 at 04:18 PM

congrats Ben.

still waitin on an update on the franken zooter too BTW.:wink2:

BeamerBob - 21-9-2010 at 04:23 PM

Nice job. Get em hooked early with some single line stuff. They can steer one by 5 or 6 depending on the child.

bigben91682 - 21-9-2010 at 04:37 PM

I have to wait 5 or 6 years?!? :o oh well, safety first I suppose.

@WG - I haven't been out for ages, and the next few weekends are booked with work ($$$ is good with tiny human incoming) but I'll be a WW for sure for a proper test. Hopefully I can get out before then but things have been crazy around here!

Todd - 21-9-2010 at 05:29 PM

Congratulations Ben!

WELDNGOD - 21-9-2010 at 05:35 PM

It's all good Ben, guess we can try it out together.

Congrats Ben.....

You'll finally be able to do a proper review on "Which moves faster: a tyke on wobbly legs or a Profoil 1.0" :o

ATB,
Sam

shaggs2riches - 21-9-2010 at 07:50 PM

Congrats man the first one is always a great moment (not that the next ones aren't either) Your new flying buddy will be good and ready in another 5 or 6 years as already stated. By then you might even be able to get a remote controlled kite to help him out J.K. :wink2: either way happy for ya and keep us in the loop

cheers
shaggs

Congrats Ben!

My son just started this year with a 4 line he is 7, could have probably started him sooner, I was afraid my self to let him start too early! So he flew his single line and tried to mimic me doing stunts with his kite! Best wishes to you , the wife and the little package on the way!

Jovver - 27-9-2010 at 10:43 AM

awindofchange - 27-9-2010 at 11:38 AM

shehatesmyhobbies - 3-11-2010 at 04:13 PM

good deal Ben! Hope everything continues to be good with the pregnancy! Wish them well!

rocfighter - 3-11-2010 at 04:20 PM

And it's all you fault. SO give her a hug and a nice back rub.
Oh and a gentle rubbing on the arches of her feet should make her back feel better. Pressure points are weird.

pokitetrash - 3-11-2010 at 04:30 PM

WOW! Cool ultrasound pic. He's got a HUGE......... Set of forearms there! He ought to be able hold back a ton of pull!

WELDNGOD - 3-11-2010 at 04:37 PM

Tonight is my last night of good sleep, labor gets induced tomorrow at 6 am.

I can't remember being this excited, like christmas eve on crack.

Wish us luck!

macboy - 29-3-2011 at 04:55 PM

Best of luck man! (And I mean best of luck to your wife....all "we" guys can do is hold her hand and smoke cigars ; )

Can't wait to hear the stories of joy!

labrat - 29-3-2011 at 05:52 PM

Thread started before I did with this sport.
Sorry I missed it, Congrats, Man.

Your life will never be the same, but you will not regret it...

EDIT: also, after the experiences of our friends, you will find your world revolving around one word. "healthy" Everything else is secondary.
