In order to assist beginers in avoiding mistakes I think we can help by listing gear we have purchased that didn't work well.
Ebay is full of kites and gear that is sub par and other pretty good entry level , budget minded gear. I think of the Sensei as an example of a good
deal for the right beginer on there. It is the only truly relaunchable 2 line kite I have seen.
The obvious 1st piece of advice would be to avoid Jonesband1998 and his knock off products + insanity.
How about those other kites? I understand the Cirrus is pretty good?
I see the Ebay market has a new cheap kite co. called Pro or something? It would be good to get a review on one of them before the beginers get in
trouble?
Avoid 2 line kites as beginer kites. Having the abilaty to relaunch with 3 or 4 lines is a real time saver at 1st.
The Best kitesurf trainer is well made but is 2 line and a bother to relaunch.
AVOID BUYING TOO BIG A KITE AT 1st ! 3m is a GOOD size!

This is a really good idea Bladerunner. I wish I would have found a thread like this when I started. It wouldve saved me time and money. It's
discouraging when your first few months of kiting is you screaming at your pieace of crap kite junk you get off fleabay.
